Meet Dr. Felice

Dr. Felice has a comprehensive surgical training background having completed his Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency at the University of Florida, where he gained invaluable experience and comfort operating on patients for facial aesthetic surgery, cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery, male gynecomastia surgery, as well as body contouring surgeries including abdominoplasty, liposuction, and mommy-makeover aesthetic procedures.

He completed his General Surgery residency at the University of South Carolina where he was nominated by his peers and colleagues for the “Physician of the Year” award, and he was chosen to complete a 2-year Research Fellowship at the University of Michigan Section of Plastic Surgery where he authored over 20 Plastic Surgery publications and won Best Research Paper of the Year by the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons.

What excites and inspires Dr. Felice is his belief that Plastic Surgery creates the perfect balance of critical and creative thinking combined with precise operative skill to achieve optimal physical and psychological benefits for his patients. He enjoys collaborating with other physicians and surgeons, and is always enthusiastic about asking questions and exchanging ideas and techniques on how to improve and enhance his patient’s care. This, coupled with the loss of 3 of his own family members to breast cancer, helped to shape his passion to pursue a practice in Plastic Surgery. He is excited to call Greenville home and to join Advanced Cosmetic Surgery team where he will continue to build upon his skills and work with a compassionate, competent, and well-respected team.

Throughout his extensive Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery training at the University of Florida, Dr. Felice was exposed to a wide variety of surgical patients and procedures. He graduated with invaluable experience and comfort operating on patients for facial aesthetics and reconstruction; breast cancer reconstruction, breast augmentation, breast reduction, and breast lift surgery; male gynecomastia surgery; tummy-tuck and abdominoplasty, liposuction and fat grafting; hand and finger function and reconstruction surgery, and skin cancer surgery. He has a particular interest in breast augmentation and breast reduction, facial cosmetic surgery, breast cancer reconstruction, skin cancer removal and reconstruction, as well as body contouring.

Dr. Felice was awarded a 2-year Research Fellowship with the Section of Plastic Surgery at the University of Michigan where he performed research in both breast cancer and head and neck cancer. He has authored and contributed to over 20 peer-reviewed publications and won Best Research Paper of the Year by the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons in 2015. He continues to write, publish, and present original craniofacial and breast cancer research at national and international meetings.

During General Surgery training at the University of South Carolina, Dr. Felice learned the operative and clinical skills necessary to care for people across a wide variety of surgical disciplines. He was nominated for Physician of the Year by his hospital colleagues and peers, and was the winner of the annual General Surgery Department “Great Debate” competition. His proudest moment as a resident of USC is still his pinning and induction as a member of the “Trauma Team”.

It was during his surgical training that Dr. Felice was exposed to an in-depth view of Plastic Surgery, and he fell in love with the diverse patient populations, the variety of cosmetic and reconstructive surgical procedures, and with how to provide both physical and psychological healing was possible for his surgical patients.

Dr. Felice is equipped with the utmost education and knowledge that are vital when considering choosing a Plastic Surgeon for your care. He is a thoughtful and articulate communicator, and patients and colleagues alike attest to his competence, empathy, and friendly disposition. His caring demeanor and dedication to helping his patients achieve gratifying results make him an exceptional addition to Advanced Cosmetic Surgery. We are proud to have Dr. Felice joining with Dr. McFadden in enhancing the lives of patients here in Greenville and the surrounding areas.

Volunteering

The basis for Dr. Felice’s medical school training began at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. While at Loyola, Dr. Felice volunteered with the International Service Immersion program and provided health care and public health education to people throughout Guatemala. He was a co-founder and editor of Ephemeris, an art and literary magazine featuring the works of Loyola students, faculty, and medical staff. He also co-founded and volunteered with the Stritch Writers’ Club Juvenile Detention Project, conducting weekly writing seminars with journaling, free-writing, and poetry classes for detainees at the Cook County Juvenile Detention Center in Chicago, IL.

Prior to beginning at Loyola, Dr. Felice attended Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. As a member of the Premed Program he majored in Biology and received a double minor in Chemistry and Theology. In addition to volunteering with the Student Admission Program, he was elected to the Student Government Senate and was a leader of the Appalachia Volunteers and Habitat for Humanity programs. He received Dean’s List First Honors for his academic excellence and was inducted into the Golden Key International Honor Society before graduating cum laude.

I highly recommend Advanced Cosmetic Surgery and Dr. Felice. From the very beginning, he was honest and transparent with me regarding the procedure and realistic outcomes I could expect. Compared to other consultations I had, I was surprised (and grateful) at how much time Dr. Felice spent with me explaining the surgery in detail and listening to my goals and concerns. When my surgery date arrived, I was somewhat nervous, but Dr. Felice & his team quickly calmed my nerves and took great care of me. The OR nurse, Ashley, is incredible! The CRNA, Ashley, was so kind and knowledgeable. These two truly put me at ease and made my experience wonderful. Prior to going in the OR, Dr. Felice discussed my goals with me once more to ensure we were on the same page and I understood his professional recommendations. Dr. Felice called me personally the evening of surgery to check in and see how I was feeling. I was shocked at how great I felt that night and the following days. The recovery was much easier than I anticipated. After breastfeeding for almost 5 years combined between my two children, I never thought my breasts could look this great. He truly exceeded my expectations! THANK YOU Dr. Felice for utilizing your surgical expertise to help give me a newfound confidence in my body. Breast augmentation is something I’ve considered for years and I’m so glad I found Advanced Cosmetic Surgery. If you’re looking for an honest, highly skilled surgeon who takes great pride in his work and is backed by an amazing team, you must go see Dr. Felice!

Dr. Felice is a very skilled plastic surgeon. He performed my tummy tuck and my breast lift and both were done extremely well. I am 2 months out and am so happy with the results! He is a great dr with great communication skills and is easy to approach with any questions or concerns. I called at almost midnight and he called back less than 10 minutes later. He had excellent “bedside manner” and the office staff is kind and professional. I would recommend advanced cosmetic surgery and Dr. Felice every time!

From the front desk staff to the Coordinator the whole experience wa professional and very warm and welcoming. I live that the nursing staff addressed me and my husband by name as did Dr Felice upon entering the exam room. I felt like all my questions and concerns were addressed and never felt rushed. They truly make you feel as if you are the only patient. I had several people highly recommend this office and I am so glad I chose Dr Felice and staff for my upcoming surgeries.

Dr. Peter Felice and his team of support have been unbelievable throughout my process. Choosing to get plastic surgery of any kind is a big decision. I felt so supported, I was given excellent details on pre and post care, and I was treated with dignity and respect. My surgery went super smooth, and everyone on staff including my nurse and anesthesiologist were as superb as Dr. Felice. I cannot wait to see the full results, but most of all I’m so happy to be home with my family healing joyfully. 5 stars all the way every day to this team!
