Meet Dr. McFadden

Greenville plastic surgeon Dr. Thomas McFadden is a leading board certified plastic surgeon with the highest level of experience in the areas of cosmetic facial surgery, breast surgery and body sculpture. His skills, plus his gentle and sophisticated manner have won him the respect of his long list of growing patients.

Having been the FIRST fellowship trained cosmetic surgeon in the upstate under three of the world’s leading cosmetic surgeons, Dr. McFadden’s techniques are the most modern and innovative available. He has authored numerous publications in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery and has been an invited guest speaker to speak on his techniques on numerous occasions.

Dr. McFadden is a proud graduate of Clemson University and obtained his medical education from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. He performed his General Surgery training at East Carolina University and his Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency at one of the nation’s finest programs at the University of Wisconsin.

Prior to re-entering training as a plastic surgeon, Dr. McFadden proudly served in the United States Air Force for four years as a General Surgeon. He most recently graduated with his Masters of Business Administration, summa cum laude, from Clemson in August 2016. He is also a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery. He is now serving as a member of the board of trustees on Southeastern Society for Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons.

Dr. McFadden believes that getting to know his patients personally is an important part of understanding their aesthetic needs. At Advanced Cosmetic Surgery, all of our staff wants to take care of you as our family. Your consultation will give you the opportunity to identify the procedures that are right for you and at the same time, foster realistic expectations about the outcome. Dr. McFadden is passionate about giving patients the results they desire along with the assurance of privacy they need.

In his free time, Dr. McFadden enjoys exploring the sights and sounds of Greenville and spending time with his family. He enjoys all sports, especially Clemson sporting events, plays tennis, golf, runs and cycles. He has two wonderful children, Caroline and Thomas, of whom he is very proud. They look forward to building their practice to better serve metro Greenville and the surrounding community.

Dr. McFadden raises money for the Alzheimer’s Association on the Ride to Remember, a 3 day, 252 mile ride from Simpsonville to Charleston. He rides in memory of his maternal grandparents, both of whom had Alzheimer’s disease. The last day of the race is 100 miles from Orangeburg to Mount Pleasant crossing the Cooper River Bridge.
