Laser Tattoo Removal in Greenville, SC

Unwanted ink can be a thing of the past, thanks to advanced laser tattoo removal technology. A laser is guided over the tattooed area to break down the ink which is then absorbed by the body.

Say goodbye to unwelcome tattoos by visiting Advanced Cosmetic Surgery. If you live in the Greenville, Spartanburg and Anderson, SC area, CONTACT US TODAY for a virtual consultation or to schedule an appointment!

Laser tattoo removal is a highly effective, minimally invasive technique for eliminating unwanted tattoos. If you’re looking to remove a design, our Picosure laser offers minimal recovery time as well as a highly successful removal rate for all ink colors.

The Picosure laser removes tattoos by focusing highly concentrated light onto the area and heating up the ink below the skin’s surface. Without harming the skin, rapid pulses of energy cause the ink to be shattered into smaller particles that are then absorbed into your body and eliminated through your immune system.

Picosure utilizes shorter wavelengths than traditional lasers to lessen the risk of scarring, hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation while increasing the range of tattoo ink colors and skin tones that can be safely treated.

I had been going somewhere different for my laser tattoo removal. I wasn’t overly satisfied with the place I had been using. I had an appointment today for a treatment with Catalina and she couldn’t do my treatment due to it not being healed completely. She was very very informative and honest about the condition of my skin from the previous place doing it. I have some slight scaring and she suspected they had the laser turned too far up for the area. She was very thorough on what they require and also what will help my skin heal the most after treatments. Although I have not had any service provided I am very confident in the fact that they are professional and educated in every aspect. I look forward to my first treatment with her. 100000/10 recommend if you’re looking for an honest, professional with integrity of her patients over her paycheck

Does tattoo removal hurt?

Depending on your pain tolerance, laser tattoo removal can range from painless to mildly uncomfortable; this is why we offer numbing cream beforehand. Afterward, you’ll experience a sensation similar to a sunburn in the affected area.

How many sessions will I need?

The Picosure laser is an unique, advanced technology that requires fewer treatments than previous laser tattoo removal devices. Patients require 3–7 treatments on average.

Will it leave a scar?

Unless there is previous scarring caused by injury or keloid scars, laser treatment of tattoos leaves little to no marks.

Our team will provide a comfortable, friendly environment before, during and after your laser tattoo removal treatment.

To begin, if requested, your laser technician will apply numbing cream to reduce any pain. Then, they’ll pass the laser handpiece over the tattooed area. Most people report the treatment is less painful than getting the tattoo itself – in fact, tattoo removal is frequently compared to the feeling of a rubber band being snapped against the skin.

Downtime for tattoo removal is minimal. Depending on the size and location of the treated area, most patients are able to return immediately to all their daily activities. You may experience minor swelling and redness for 2–3 days, as well as temporary whitening of the skin, which will resolve in 2–3 weeks. During the healing process it’s important to keep the treated skin covered with a clean bandage and moisturized with an occlusive ointment such as Aquaphor.

At Advanced Cosmetic Surgery, our staff is here to provide you with a highly personalized, safe experience from start to finish.

How Much Does Laser Tattoo Removal Cost?

Laser tattoo removal cost is dependent on multiple factors including the color, size, age and placement of your tattoo. For an accurate estimate, we recommend SCHEDULING AN APPOINTMENT.
