"ACS has been amazing from beginning, throughout the entire process. Every staff member is friendly and professional from the front desk, to the nurse anesthetist, they are all clearly there to help so you have the best experience possible. Morgan was especially amazing and truly helped calm nerves prior to surgery with her bubbly personality. Dr. McFadden is not only clearly talented at what he does, but also has awesome bedside manners. Very personable and friendly but also straightforward to ensure expectations are realistic. I received a tummy tuck, trunk lipo, thighs lipo and chin lipo. I love how they go the extra step to ensure the best results, like measurement for two compression garments post surgery and providing bromelain in addition to other vitamins and medications. The facility parking can be a bit tight, but the facility itself is very modern and clean. My husband was very comfortable waiting throughout my surgery and the staff were awesome at keeping him up to date. Highly recommend ACS. They’re the best in the upstate and I will definitely be returning for future needs."
"I would like to share that I have always had the best results at Advanced Cosmetic Surgery. The front desk ladies are very nice and professional as well as they represent the clinic with their aesthetic appearance that you would expect in this type of office. Every member of Dr. McFadden's staff have been friendly as well as professional and knowledgeable. Now on to Dr. Tom McFadden and Dr. Peter Felice, they are two of the nicest physicians I have ever met. Their knowledge and skills are exceptional. I have been to other "top-notch" plastic surgeons in NC never being as quite as satisfied and proud of my results as here at ACS. Ashley Burel micro bladed my eyebrows and they are flawless. I no longer wear daily makeup and always get compliments about how beautiful my skin and face look. The next procedure on my wish list is to get high definition liposuction to my abdomen and back. "Dr. McFadden and his staff are great! - After doing some research for a plastic surgeon for a tummy tuck, I went in for a tummy tuck December 2019. I really liked the after results of his prior patients. For 14 years, I had been really self-conscience about my stomach after giving birth. I did not let anyone see it, nor would I look at it myself. I am so happy with my results now!I also had chin and cheek lipo. I have always had big cheeks and wanted a slimmer appearance in the jaw line. I am super happy with those results and the tummy tuck.Because of the great experience, I also returned for other services: Votiva and Botox. I am very satisfied with the customer service experience and services.Dr. McFadden and his staff are great!"
"Very good team - I'm a few weeks post-op for full lower extremity liposuction and can already tell a difference. Dr. McFadden discussed my expectations with me and he really listened. Dr. McFadden's team is great. They are very nice and willing to answer any questions I have. However, the surgical tech did nothing to make me feel more comfortable. She doesn't seem to be as much of a people person. I would like to mention a few things that I think the staff should consider.1. A patient should be given the option to what happens to the before and after photos. For my breast augmentation with a different surgeon, I had to sign a release to allow them to be put on the surgeon’s website. I could be wrong, but I thought the release that I signed here was only a general release about the photos. I realize they need to be taken, but I'd prefer mine to be limited to my file.2. What will happen in the operating room should be explained completely to the patient beforehand which leads me to #3.3. A patient’s dignity should be preserved as much as possible. A patient should not be uncovered until it’s absolutely necessary and the patient is asleep. I had to stand on a pad open to the doorway to the hall completely naked w/ my arms out while I was washed from head to toe with betadine before climbing up on the table (still completely naked). I knew that IT WAS NECESSARY and that it WOULD BE EMBARRASSING and I was right. However, I was not warned ahead of time. That's my big issue. It was just a shock that I was not prepared for. • I would think that it would be easy to have a 3-sided partition setup next to the table open to the table for the patient to stand behind while being washed down so that they don't feel so exposed in a large, cold room. • I realize the team needed to be able to flip me during surgery, but I still feel that surgical drapes could be used from the waist up. It only takes a few minutes to remove a surgical drape, flip the patient, then replace with another sterile surgical drape. • There should be a high drape at the patient's head between the anesthesiologist and the surgery being performed before the patient is uncovered. "Jawline and Neck Liposuction - Even at my skinniest, I held on to fat in my neck. Really needing a tummy tuck after my twins but not really being ready to shell out that kind of money, I opted to fix the one part of your body that you can’t hide. I wish I would’ve done it sooner. I? was in more pain but less swollen. I? stopped wearing the garment and that was a mistake. The swelling happened over a few days and I? didn’t realize what was happening until I? was in a ton of pain. Updated on 9 Jan 2018:Some scarring inside that makes my neck tight. Hopefully after the next few ultrasound treatments, it will heal up all the way. ??"
"Liposuction Here I Come - I’ve worked out for years and tried everything in the book. At the end of the day I like food and lack discipline but once I?m in a routine i stay consistent. Liposuction will give the confidence to continue my journey. I have talked to two people who use Dr. McFadden and my surgery is set for 12/20.Updated on 9 Nov 2017:So I’ve been playing with this app for some before and after pictures. I think it looks ok. I?m getting excited! Updated on 21 Dec 2017:Pre-Op and post op sneak peek; I had every intention of putting more on here but it seems as if my nerves got the best of me. The before pictures were right before the doctor started drawing on me. I have small rolling veins and didn’t consider. So the anesthesiologist has to insert the IV into my hand after numerous tries. They like to only stick you once so I prayed that of this was for me, it would work. AND it did! Once I was in the OR and they administered the anesthesia, I don’t remember much. The last picture is of everything they took out. My mom and girl friend said it looked like chitterlings. LOL. The pain is UNREAL when I try to move around but when I’m still, it’s bearable. Let’s see what tomorrow brings!Updated on 21 Dec 2017:Updated on 25 Dec 2017:So the pain is gone but the swelling and bruising is in full effect. Yikes! I have my first doctors appointment on the 27th so 1 more day. I’m down to pain medicine once a day and vitamins 3 times a day. I still have this odd ringing but other than that, I feel like I’m recovering nicely. Any advice or tips?Updated on 1 Jan 2018:I’m finally starting to feel like myself again! The first few days were HORRIBLE. Now my energy level is coming back and the ringing in my ear isn’t as bad but still there. They say it takes a while to see the results but I think I can finally see them and my weight has gone down by 11 lbs. What do you all think? Results or No? Updated on 18 Jan 2018:So it’s been 4 weeks and I can finally see the difference. I’m told it only gets better! I start working out next week so I’m excited! The initial pain was horrible but I remember the nurse telling me I would initially hate her but then I’d love her, she’s right! I’m pleased with everything except my back. I don’t see a change at all but I’m being patient. There’s hopefully an option for correction but I can’t do anything if I will feel the pain that I felt before. "

I went from a size 14 down to a size 6, losing 21 pounds. I have an extremely flat stomach. I would do it all again. I'm having my arms and back done this fall, can't wait. I would go through everything again."

"Tummy Tuck. 4 Kids...one Pregnancy AFTER Tummy Tuck - Greenville, SC - I cannot say enough about this facility and Dr. McFadden. The office is clean and comfortable. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. Most importantly my results from my tummy tuck (after 100 lb weight loss) were better than I could have imagined. I evens d a baby (oops) 2 years post pop. I tell anyone who asks that this procedure and Doc changed my life. Do be ready for several weeks of recovery. It's a hard road but so so worth it. I never spent more than 15 minutes waiting in the waiting room...unless I arrived super early.Updated on 7 Jul 2016:I just wanted to share my experience of accidentally having a pregnancy after a tummy tuck. I couldn't find another place on this site to tell this side story. So if there's a better place for this little story...oops! Anyway, I became pregnant 2 years after a tummy tuck. I was happy about the pregnancy but afraid of ruining my results. I was very conscious about my eating and exercise to control my weight gain. I gained about 25-30 lbs. My tummy tuck didn't suffer AT ALL from the pregnancy. I did choose to have some other areas addressed about a year after that pregnancy (love handle looseness). That revision was about $1-1.5k. I didn't absolutely need it, but it was an area I ALWAYS obsessed about and am PLEASED with this procedure already...it hasn't even been two weeks yet. My advice is to watch the weight gain. Eat adequate protein and fresh fruits and vegis. Try to workout too. I lifted weights and ran until a week before I delivered and was fine. Just keep in candid conversation with your doc about your diet and physical activity to ensure health of pregnancy and baby. It's not a death sentence to your flat tummy to get pregnant after a tummy tuck. Just make healthy choices!"

"Mommy makeover 27yr old 2 CSections - Greenville, SC - So far, I've already had my breast augmentation. My amazing Doctor didn't want to over do it with my body and my healing and suggested we split up the tummy tuck/Lipo and breast augmentation into two separate surgeries. It's been very sore and coughing, hiccups, and throwing up are complete burning hell but I am so pleased already. I had a full tummy tuck with muscle repair, Lipo of flanks and inner thighs. I'm using a lift chair, shower chair, and all my pain meds and they've helped a lot. My mom has agreed to stay longer to help with my 18mo old and 4 year old children. Sleeping in a chair for 7 days, missing my kids who are in the next room being cared for by someone else, an allergic reaction to steri strips, the emotional and physical aspects of this tummy tuck have been more than originally anticipated. But today is a good day!!!! I get my drains removed this afternoon, I shaved my legs today, and I put on cute panties (I've been wearing my husbands boxers for 7 days so I could clip my drains to them). I'm finally seeing some progress and I'm feeling upbeat again.Updated on 2 Apr 2016:So, today I'm weaker and in more pain then I've been in in 2 days. I want my life back, I want to play with my kids and most of all I want to stop itching. I had the steri strips removed 5days ago due to N allergic reaction. I'm continuing to get more red and swollen and it makes it difficult to see any progress. Just not a good day.Updated on 5 Apr 2016:Feeling...better! I'm alone caring for my children again, which is wonderful!!!! Since my little man is only 20months it has its physical challenges but I'm so glad to be living my life again. I'm finally seeing some progress with my incisions and all the redness. I'm on day 4 of prednisone. At this point I'm trying to stay positive and be easy on myself while I'm healing.Updated on 25 Apr 2016:I'm getting back to my life!!! Feeling like the energetic mom I love to be. I'm still getting swollen at night and there are some areas I'm not sure I'm in love with on my hips and the flank Lipo but I'm making progress with the healing and my spirits are much better than they were. There is something odd that I've never seen anyone talk about and that's the effects I feel the medication and annesthesia has had on my brain and memory. I've done things completely out of character for me lately and I've completely forgotten huge things I was excited about. There's been many occasions where I'm forgetful and again just not myself. I hope I heal from the effects surgery has had on my mind.Updated on 23 May 2016:Not too much to update. Scars are fading and I'm feeling pretty confident. I still haven't felt like work out and I went boating/jet skiing yesterday...super super sore incision today. I didn't realize until today how much I over did it."

"58yo, Tummy Tuck Plus Revision - Greenville, SC - After loosing over 50 pounds, and keeping it off for almost 2 years, it was time to remove that 'apron' of excess skin and fat that won't diet away. Surgery went well except for heavy bleeding from varicose veins on the abdomen. As a result of the excess bleeding, my body produced an excess of fluid and created a huge seroma, covering my entire abdomen. My plastic surgeon was amazing! He calmly treated every issue my body tossed at him-seromas, eschar (dead skin turned black), split open incisions, and major adhiesence of the entire abdominal area. He cleaned and trimmed and restitched my wound every the days for almost two months. He came in on weekends, during his vacation, and even on his birthday! He and his superb staff were professional, friendly, and skillful."

"Fat Transfer to Breasts - Greenville, SC - The I had hip and thigh liposuction along with fat transfer to my breasts and all I can say is that my results are awesome! "Tummy Tuck and then Pregnant! - Greenville, SC - I was divorced with 3 children when I consulted with Dr. McFadden on a tummy tuck. Although I was engaged, I was not planning to have anymore children. I was slim and had lost any baby weight (I was a size 2) but because of my 3 c-sections, I had extra skin. Dr. McFadden decided I needed a mini-tuck with reconstructing a new belly button and some lipo on hips and back. The team there was extremely helpful in planning for this surgery. The surgery was a success but the recovery was painful. Despite enduring that process, I had the results I could only wish for...within 3 months I was in a bikini on my honeymoon. Well, within 6 months...yup...you guessed it - I found out our birth control did not work as planned and I was pregnant! I freaked out, immediately started following blogs and watching videos of other women who had a tummy tuck and then got pregnant. I was nervous my abdomen wouldn't stretch, that my tuck would be ruined, etc. I ended up having another (my 4th) c-section and my ObGyn's followed the same scar as my tuck. Well my baby is already a year and I can testify that Dr. McFadden must know what he is doing! My stomach is just as flat, thank goodness I didn't get anymore stretch marks and my muscles are still tight. So, yes, you can get pregnant after a tummy tuck...and you can bounce back and look great!"
