"Dr. McFadden is absolutely outstanding! Over the past 10 years, he has performed numerous cosmetic procedures on me, and he has never failed to impress. Previously, I had a tummy tuck with muscle repair done by another surgeon at a different practice, but I was dissatisfied with the results, even after a revision. In November, I chose to have the same procedure performed by Dr. McFadden, and the results have been nothing short of remarkable! The photo to the left shows my abdomen one year after the initial tummy tuck, during which I experienced distension and hardness from day one post-op, with no changes over time. I was continually told by the first surgeon that it was merely swelling and fascia issues. The photo to the right, taken just 10 weeks after my tummy tuck with Dr. McFadden, highlights a significant improvement. As you can see, I am already quite flat despite some lingering swelling. I am eagerly anticipating what my final results will look like in a year! Dr. McFadden has truly become my hero through this procedure. I cannot recommend him highly enough for exceptional results. After all, who undergoes a tummy tuck without the goal of achieving a flat abdomen? That’s the entire purpose!"

"In 2006, I went to Dr. McFadden for a mommy makeover. The quality care I received at ACS and the amazing results that was accomplished is was brought me back 17 years later for my 2023 Septorhinoplasty. I have put this surgery off for years even though my ENT kept persisting. There is no one else I would trust to perform this procedure. It was at a place you could not hide with clothing and was visible to all so only the best would do. I was a very challenging patient with a septum being deviated in multiple places as well as infant size airways. My main goal was to be able to breathe. I figured while Dr. “Magic”McFadden was in there he could take out my hump that I have had for 35 years. He mastered all the obstacles I threw at him. His staff was remarkable. From all the pre-op visits, the day of surgery and the visits after, they all were so informative with all the steps and procedures and what to expect. They truly care about you as a person. As far as my results, as you can see my hump is gone. However, what you can’t see is that I am no longer a mouth breather like I had been for over 30 years. I no longer take 2 medications that I was taking for constant congestion and sinus issues. This was much more that just a cosmetic procedure. It has changed my life and I am truly grateful for all that Dr. McFadden and his staff has done. If you are looking to have any procedure at all done, I urge you to get a consultation at ACS because you won’t be disappointed."

Over the years, I have had multiple procedures done including: earlobe repair by Dr. McFadden after my daughter pulled my earring out, botox & lip filler by a few different nurses, and a breast augmentation by Dr. Felice. "Hello, I saw Dr. Thomas McFadden for a scar revision on my nose. I had went elsewhere for a consultation with a woman Dr. Who made me feel humiliated for my scar. She also examined my entire face. She had only given me one option of treatment which was fat grafting. I was extremely nervous coming here after such an upsetting experience elsewhere. Dr. McFadden was warm, kind, compassionate. When I cried here he offered me a tissue, unlike other place I was at. He did not make me feel embarrassed, or worse for having a scar. I’m human after all. More importantly he took the time to explain to me many different options for treating it, opposed to the one option I was given elsewhere, and which he felt would be the best. "UPDATE ON MY PREVIOUS REVIEW: I previously gave Advanced Cosmetic's 1 star because I was so dissatisfied with the results of my mini-facelift to get rid of jowls. Since then, Dr. McFadden and his staff have contacted and met with me on numerous occasions and offered to redo the procedure at no or drastically reduced prices. I have had 3 procedures since my initial procedure in an effort to rid my face of jowls and, while they are not completely gone, they are not as noticeable, and Dr. McFadden is not finished yet. "ACS has been amazing from beginning, throughout the entire process. Every staff member is friendly and professional from the front desk, to the nurse anesthetist, they are all clearly there to help so you have the best experience possible. Morgan was especially amazing and truly helped calm nerves prior to surgery with her bubbly personality. Dr. McFadden is not only clearly talented at what he does, but also has awesome bedside manners. Very personable and friendly but also straightforward to ensure expectations are realistic. I received a tummy tuck, trunk lipo, thighs lipo and chin lipo. I love how they go the extra step to ensure the best results, like measurement for two compression garments post surgery and providing bromelain in addition to other vitamins and medications. The facility parking can be a bit tight, but the facility itself is very modern and clean. My husband was very comfortable waiting throughout my surgery and the staff were awesome at keeping him up to date. Highly recommend ACS. They’re the best in the upstate and I will definitely be returning for future needs."

The office waiting room is beautiful with pretty decor and furniture making the experience even nicer. Advanced Cosmetic surgery has been almost a sanctuary for me in a stressful time in my life. I had a lift and complementary scar laser treatments to make them less noticeable. All of my visits (whether they are call in or part of the scheduled follow ups) are free of charge after paying for the initial surgery itself. I am so much happier after my lift. "I would like to share that I have always had the best results at Advanced Cosmetic Surgery. The front desk ladies are very nice and professional as well as they represent the clinic with their aesthetic appearance that you would expect in this type of office. Now on to Dr. Tom McFadden and Dr. Peter Felice, they are two of the nicest physicians I have ever met. Their knowledge and skills are exceptional. I have been to other "top-notch" plastic surgeons in NC never being as quite as satisfied and proud of my results as here at ACS. Ashley Burel micro bladed my eyebrows and they are flawless. I no longer wear daily makeup and always get compliments about how beautiful my skin and face look. The next procedure on my wish list is to get high definition liposuction to my abdomen and back. My sister had it done by Dr. McFadden and her results are amazing. She now has a washboard abdomen. (Now if I could just win the lottery (of course that would require me to buying a lottery ticket).) "I did a ton of research and traveled from NY for my surgery with Dr. McFadden. I also worked closely with Karysa, Laura, and Kristen in preparation. Everyone was so wonderful and I can’t recommend them enough. They were so accommodating every single step of the way, that I wasn’t even nervous. They’ve offered virtual alternatives for my second post-op follow up and suggested a colleague near me for later follow ups. My procedure was just two days ago. "Last update: after going back for my 4th time in all and seeing Dr McFadden the last 2 times. I believe I’m finally getting the results I wanted. I appreciate him taking his time perfecting how the Botox works for me personally. Everyone is different and perfection sometimes takes time and patience. Trust the process. I also love that this establishment does not make you wear mask but yet gives you the option to wear one or if you want to ask them to wear one, they will. The choice should be yours. I think everyone should follow these same protocols. I give extra star just for that alone. Great job at being a leader during these times and providing great service at the same time This will be lengthy! I just went in for Botox and possibly fillers. Ive been to few places including Med Spas for botox and lived all over so I am aware on how Botox works The 1 thing I didn’t like about this office was lack of communication especially with me being first time customer. I was never told prices, deals or anything, I got 35 units in 3 different areas at my first appointment because I was told he wanted to be conservative, I made it clear I liked nothing to move but was told we can always do more. I never had a day where the areas I received Botox didn’t move so the next week I called and was told they did free touch ups and was made an appointment for 2 weeks out. At my follow up I got 15 more units per doctor and I added a “lip flip” which I knew would be extra. I walked out paying way more then expected. I’ve never paid for touch ups in past at other places I was never told prices or that id be paying for anything other then the “lip flip” I was shocked but paid and left hoping this time I’d achieve no movement. After this “touch up” I still saw movement in all areas where Botox was placed. I started calling to ask them questions and no one answered, I even left a VM(no one ever called me back) the next week I tried calling A few more times and I finally spoke with lady and explained my situation. I just wanted to ask their office policy and few questions on Botox etc. I felt rushed and I didn’t even receive an apology from them not returning my call. She told me their touch ups consist of 3 units!! 3 units is all you will get free at a 2nd appointment with ACS! Here I am 6 weeks later 50 units later from 1st appointment and everything moves and my glabeller area never once was “frozen” It never paralyzed that area at all. It was as if that area wasn’t even given Botox. In the past I’ve always been able to achieve no movement in that area but not here. 600$ later and it’s as if I got nothing done. Also, my lipflip lasted 1 week. I don’t recommend it. It’s not worth the money. Lastly, when calling I felt like they didn’t have time for me or to answer any questions nor did I feel like they cared, while I was asking her questions she was having conversation with someone in office and didn’t ask me to hold or anything. I save for months to get Botox, it’s something I treat myself to when I can. At previous places I’ve never had a problem with achieving no movement and if I did need touch ups, I was always given more for free or some sort of deal while being treated equally. I had high hopes for ACS and wish them the best. I couldn’t find an email to send my experience with so this is where it went unfortunately. Update: was asked to come in to re-do Botox. I wasn’t expecting anything out of my review but was happy to hear they wanted to do anything they could to make sure I was happy. Will repost again with updates."
"I have had nothing but the best experience from all the the staff at ACS. Dr. McFadden preformed my Liposuction and had the nicest bed side manner from the first day I met him for my consult to the morning of my surgery. He was honest and straight to the point always reassuring me as to what I could expect. The nurses took excellent care of me during all of my post-op appointments and the front desk staff were always very welcoming. "I am very pleased with the results from the Zo Medical Peel! I am still peeling, it’s going on 2 weeks. The Zo Peel has been the strongest most effective peel that I have ever had. The staff has followed up with me after the procedure, to ensure that I didn’t have any concerns. I have been getting all my chemical peels at Dr. McFadden’s office. I always have Ashley apply the chemical peels. I have complete confidence in Ashley’s expertise when applying this advanced chemical peel. I trust no one else. Dr. McFadden had performed a tiny cosmetic procedure on my son when he was 11. My son had a little pebble go through his upper lip caused by a roller blading fall. I really liked the after results of his prior patients. For 14 years, I had been really self-conscience about my stomach after giving birth. "Ashley did coolsculpting on my arms. She is such a sweetheart and goes out of her way to make you comfortable. She addresses any and every concern. I also want to put in a good review for Jo. I had a rash in-between my breasts. I showed it to Ashley. She immediately got Jo to look at it. Jo advised a cream. The cream was ineffective so I called the office. She called in a prescription and that was amazing. Worked right off. I so appreciate their help. I would have had to suffer with the horrible itching until I was able to get into my regular doctor. So by both of these nice ladies going over and above their normal duties and taking the extra time and care for me I was able to be healed so quickly. From making the appointment to my consultation and surgery. When I went in Dr.McFadden answered all my questions and was very kind. "Very good team - I'm a few weeks post-op for full lower extremity liposuction and can already tell a difference. Dr. McFadden discussed my expectations with me and he really listened. Dr. McFadden's team is great. They are very nice and willing to answer any questions I have. However, the surgical tech did nothing to make me feel more comfortable. She doesn't seem to be as much of a people person. I would like to mention a few things that I think the staff should consider.1. A patient should be given the option to what happens to the before and after photos. For my breast augmentation with a different surgeon, I had to sign a release to allow them to be put on the surgeon’s website. I could be wrong, but I thought the release that I signed here was only a general release about the photos. I realize they need to be taken, but I'd prefer mine to be limited to my file.2. What will happen in the operating room should be explained completely to the patient beforehand which leads me to #3.3. A patient’s dignity should be preserved as much as possible. A patient should not be uncovered until it’s absolutely necessary and the patient is asleep. I had to stand on a pad open to the doorway to the hall completely naked w/ my arms out while I was washed from head to toe with betadine before climbing up on the table (still completely naked). I knew that IT WAS NECESSARY and that it WOULD BE EMBARRASSING and I was right. However, I was not warned ahead of time. That's my big issue. It was just a shock that I was not prepared for. • I would think that it would be easy to have a 3-sided partition setup next to the table open to the table for the patient to stand behind while being washed down so that they don't feel so exposed in a large, cold room. • I realize the team needed to be able to flip me during surgery, but I still feel that surgical drapes could be used from the waist up. It only takes a few minutes to remove a surgical drape, flip the patient, then replace with another sterile surgical drape. • There should be a high drape at the patient's head between the anesthesiologist and the surgery being performed before the patient is uncovered. The before pictures were right before the doctor started drawing on me. I have small rolling veins and didn’t consider. So the anesthesiologist has to insert the IV into my hand after numerous tries. They like to only stick you once so I prayed that of this was for me, it would work. AND it did! Once I was in the OR and they administered the anesthesia, I don’t remember much. The last picture is of everything they took out. My mom and girl friend said it looked like chitterlings. LOL. The pain is UNREAL when I try to move around but when I’m still, it’s bearable. I couldn't find another place on this site to tell this side story. So if there's a better place for this little story...oops! Anyway, I became pregnant 2 years after a tummy tuck. I was happy about the pregnancy but afraid of ruining my results. I was very conscious about my eating and exercise to control my weight gain. I gained about 25-30 lbs. My tummy tuck didn't suffer AT ALL from the pregnancy. I did choose to have some other areas addressed about a year after that pregnancy (love handle looseness). That revision was about $1-1.5k. I didn't absolutely need it, but it was an area I ALWAYS obsessed about and am PLEASED with this procedure already...it hasn't even been two weeks yet. My advice is to watch the weight gain. Eat adequate protein and fresh fruits and vegis. Try to workout too. I lifted weights and ran until a week before I delivered and was fine. Just keep in candid conversation with your doc about your diet and physical activity to ensure health of pregnancy and baby. It's not a death sentence to your flat tummy to get pregnant after a tummy tuck. Just make healthy choices!"

"38 Years Old. 2 Kids - Greenville SC - I decided to get cool sculpting on inner thighs. I am 38 years old and have 2 kids. Approximately 5'4 and 117 lbs. Working out and being active did not seem to target this area. I have only had one treatment and I definitely could tell a positive change and fat reduction after just the one treatment! The procedure was very tolerable and I had very minimal pain during and after the procedure. Immediately after the procedure they massage the area for 2 minutes. My left ear (which was the problem ear from night 1) at the top springs outward almost as much as it did before, so it doesn't seem to have held. :( I'm hoping it can be simply stitched back. They had noticed it sticks out more than the right side and that I should wait until at least 4 months to see how they position before we do anything more. My last follow-up appointment is in a few weeks. I'm just not liking how much they have relaxed...the left side sticks out too much for having had surgery; the right side is still good, so long as it doesn't pop out anymore. I'm hopeful that Dr. McFadden will fix them (especially the left ear back) just how he had it right after the procedure as that was the way I was really happy with. Will post photos later."

"Tuberous and Assymetry and a Touch of Lipo - Greenville, SC - I have never been happy with the overall size and shape of my breasts. It didn't matter if I was at my heaviest or my skinniest, they were always uneven and constricted. I am 31 and have used multiple methods of fertility treatments, which did not help in the breast and weight department. My husband was very supportive and told me to "go for it". Dr. McFadden and his team are top notch. He suggested a full lift with implant for my larger breast and a periareolar lift with implant for my smaller breast. Dr. McFadden also did a little lipo at my bra band and bottom of the rib cage on my back. Abby, Kim, and Kait are some of the sweetest and funniest nurses I have ever had the opportunity to meet. "41 with 2 Children tummy tuck lipo and mucle repair with existing mesh - I've had several surgeries with hernia repairs. 1 had ripped within a couple of weeks of repair and greatly opened. my stomach was a complete math from surgeries and 10 incisions in the past. "37 Yr Old with Brown Spots on Face...BBL Was Fantastic - Greenville, SC - I have laid in the tanning bed and sun a lot in my 20's and 30's. Unfortunately, last year I laid in a tanning bed with a facial tanner and when I got home after the second time of tanning I had a very dark spot on one of my checks and across the top of my lip. I went to Dr. McFadden's office and they recommended the BBL and forever peel. Dr. McFadden's office and staff is wonderful. They explained everything to me as far as the procedure and I decided to go ahead and have it done. I love the results!! I was a little red the first day, nice and red the next day and the brown spots got dark and darker, the next day the brown spots started flaking off and by day 4, they were all gone. "Tummy Tuck and Breast Reduction - Greenville, SC - Hey, I am 25 years old and mother of a 6 year boy. My surgery (tummy tuck and breast reduction) is scheduled for August 1st.... That's 3 days and I am super nervous but even more excited! I have wanted this procedure since my son was born, almost 7 years ago. I don't consider myself to be big at all, but I have a flabby stomach and major stretch marks, hence the need for a full tummy tuck with a little bit of lipo. I'm 5'5'' and 145 pounds (10 pounds are probably boobs, no lie), therefore I am also getting a breast reduction. I have had breast that were too large for my body since I was about 13! I am currently in a size 34 D sometimes DD, and since having my son, my large breast are now saggy. I originally inquired with my PS about a breast lift but he informed me because my breast were so large, and I desired smaller breast, a breast reduction would be best for me. In other words, if he lifted the breast I have, because of their size, they would end up saggy again quickly. When I tell people I am getting a tummy tuck, everyone says they don't know why because I'm not fat, which is true but they've never seen me naked! I'm not doing it to take the easy way out or to lose weight. I currently work out 5 or 6 days a week and have been working out for about 4 years. It seems that the more I work out and the more weight I lose, the more saggy and loose my skin gets. So far, I am very pleased with my PS and his staff! "Getting Really Nervous About my Procedure - Greenville, SC - I had my first consultation 11/13/2012. My procedure is this Friday, March 29, 2013. I am freaking out. My biggest fear is not waking up after the procedure or being in a lot of pain. I've wanted to do this for more than 10 years after my last child was born. I am 42 and a mother of 4. "Tummy Tuck and then Pregnant! - Greenville, SC - I was divorced with 3 children when I consulted with Dr. McFadden on a tummy tuck. Although I was engaged, I was not planning to have anymore children. I was slim and had lost any baby weight (I was a size 2) but because of my 3 c-sections, I had extra skin. Dr. McFadden decided I needed a mini-tuck with reconstructing a new belly button and some lipo on hips and back. The team there was extremely helpful in planning for this surgery. The surgery was a success but the recovery was painful. Despite enduring that process, I had the results I could only wish for...within 3 months I was in a bikini on my honeymoon. Well, within 6 months...yup...you guessed it - I found out our birth control did not work as planned and I was pregnant! I freaked out, immediately started following blogs and watching videos of other women who had a tummy tuck and then got pregnant. I was nervous my abdomen wouldn't stretch, that my tuck would be ruined, etc. I ended up having another (my 4th) c-section and my ObGyn's followed the same scar as my tuck. Well my baby is already a year and I can testify that Dr. McFadden must know what he is doing! I would say the hardest part for me was having to sleep on my back for 2 weeks since I am a side sleeper. I had breast implants under the muscle 390cc each and was a 36DD. Weight gain, gravity and two kids later I wanted my implants removed, no replacement implants and a lift. I am now a full 36B currently and I couldn't be happier. As soon as I can I want to be able to do intense workouts since I wasn't able to with DD's. This surgery was well worth it and one of the best decisions I have ever made.Updated on 5 Apr 2012:4 weeks post op. I will make sure to update new photos weekly. The nurse said at the 4 week mark I am able to wear regular sports bras as long as they have a clasp or zipper. I am able to sleep on my side or stomach. I can shower every other day instead of daily as long as all my wounds are closed. I can exercise as long as I take it easy and it doesn't involve my upper body."

"Breast Implant Removal and Lift with No Replacement Implants - Greenville, SC - Four more days until I go in for surgery. I got breast implants when I was 22 in Sept 2004. I was a 36A and weighed 112lbs. I got 350cc in each breast and became a 36 C/D. I am now 30 and weigh 145lbs and now have 2 kids and my breast size is a 36DD. I am 5'1 and I feel like very top heavy. I can't weight to get the implants taken out and also get a lift. My surgeon told me he thinks I will be a B/C after the surgery. Which will be much better than a DD. I am very excited to get them taken out and can't remember how it feels to have normal size breasts. I will have general anesthesia which I have never had before. The costs above cover 5 visits.
